The economics final objectives put problem-solving skills and targeted search for information first. Pupils must be able to analyze economic issues on the basis of concrete figures. They find a lot of macroeconomic information for this on the website www.belgostat.be

Material sheet
The data is presented in well-arranged tables with the possibility to adjust the presentation properties and make graphs. The big advantage is the possibility to convert the tables into spreadsheets, so that they can be used for further processing by the students.

The site is a product of the National Bank of Belgium in collaboration with the National Institute of Statistics, two institutions that no longer have to prove their reputation for the reliability of their information.
