Financial briefcase

Buso De Pinker worked out a financial briefcase. Teachers, students, parents, support staff, CAWs ... were questioned to get an idea of what the students struggle with financially in daily life. The answers to these questions helped shape the financial briefcase. Objectives were worked out for each phase and year of study and then various work forms in the form of worksheets, games, films, books, etc. were linked to them. In this way, the needs of students can be responded to and exercises are offered as targeted as possible to gain more knowledge about various financial subjects.

The briefcase contains various working methods grouped by training phase. Some examples of this:

  • Phase 1:
    • which euros exist;
    • color the amount;
    • calculate change.;
    • ...
  • Phase 2:
    • working with payment cards;
    • Payconiq;
    • OCMW;
    • drawing up a savings plan and budget plan;
    • ...

This is not a limited list, the topics can be added to at any time.

It is always discussed what exactly the working method entails, why it is an interesting working method, how you approach it, for which target group it is intended and how long the working method takes on average. After that, some more variables can be mentioned. For example, some work forms may contain a link to a specific video or some tips may be given. Finally, the goals that are worked on during these working methods are stated.
