Me and the other: Project on relational education

Project I and the other person is an example of how difficult topics such as homosexuality, gender and transgender are and sexual resilience in children from three to fourteen years can be tackled. Do you want to work on these topics as a primary or secondary school, but do not know how? The attached info bundle contains a lot more information about how each school can develop its own project, Ik and the other.

The project ran for the first time at Sint-Martinus nursery and primary school in Sint-Jans-Molenbeek (Brussels) in November 2012. Several schools are now working on their own version.

One of the most striking items that Sint-Martinus tried out was an extensive exhibition on the topics cited. It hung in the corridors of the school, constantly visible to pupils and parents.

The exhibition now goes from school to school and can be borrowed free of charge. A rough film from the first version of the exhibition can give a first impression: https://vimeo.com/55439264 .

In the meantime, the exhibition has evolved further. All files are also available electronically after an e-mail .
