Mermaids Don't Drown: Lesson Series

A series of lessons with the book Meerminnen don't drown by Saskia Maaskant.

This lesson series consists of lessons that can be chosen by teachers and students. It is important to have the book itself, as it refers to page numbers.

There are two parts: commands before reading the book and processing commands after reading the book. Attachments are required for a number of assignments: namely:

• The ladder game game board (printing in color and possibly laminating);
• The ladder game answer cards;
• The story of the Mermaid of Westenschouwen;
• Writing fairytales score sheets.

In addition, special supplies such as Wilhelminapepermint, pawns and dice, craft and drawing supplies are sometimes required. Internet is also required for some assignments.

Tip: Of course there are many other processing tasks to come up with. Mermaids do not drown either and my city and country are full of inspiring stories and assignments.
