Gender click in learning resources: Checklist gender and heteronormal
The images given to children influence the values and standards they develop. Since childhood and toddler age, children are watching books and picking up standards. If children only see books showing male female couples, they will not automatically regard couples of the same sex as "normal." Man-woman becomes the norm for them. The same goes for gender norms. Imaging has an influence on the views of children.
Therefore, çavaria developed a concise checklist that any teacher and producer of learning resources can get started. Before writing a workbook, writing a course or using certain books, take a look at whether it's not too normative.
