D-day: Current affairs assignment
Assignment on the occasion of 75 years of D-day built up according to OVUR.
After the students take a short quiz about D-day facts, they watch a movie clip of Saving Private Ryan as a class and answer a few questions. They then independently work with newspaper articles, maps, online articles... to get an idea of what happened during D-day.
