Faces of human rights: Workshop

What do a World War II German soldier, a Syrian refugee, a Holocaust survivor and an African child soldier have in common? At first glance nothing. Or is it? During this interactive workshop, students look for common ground as well as differences between people and conflicts in the past and today. They do this on the basis of various personal testimonials. They are stories that each in turn lead back to one central theme: human rights. Finally, students take a critical look at the meaning of these human rights in their own lives and the world today.
