Writing notes: Chord or triad


In this online exercise on musictheory.net it is the intention that you click on the correct note image next to the name of the chord. The different chords are:

  • a major triad ( major triad );
  • a minor triad ( minor triad );
  • an augmented triad ( augmented triad );
  • a diminished triad ( diminished triad );
  • a dominant seventh chord ( dominant 7th );
  • a major seventh chord ( major 7th );
  • a minor seventh chord ( minor 7th );
  • a half-diminished seventh chord ( half-diminished 7th );
  • a diminished seventh chord ( diminished 7th ).
