Dylan (23): "For the director, I was the first gay man in the school's three hundred-year history, and personally he made sure that I would not be in his school the following year."
When Dylan was kicked out by a classmate as gay, a lonely year of bullying started for him.
For young people and teachers who do not respond to the stereotypical male-female image, the school is often not safe enough to be able to be themselves. The worst incidents that lesbian youth experience because of their sexual orientation take place in school in almost half of the cases.
