Expedition micro: bit: Program your own idea

The micro: bit is a mini board computer developed by the BBC in England. You can do really cool things with it. For example, the micro: bit has 25 LEDs on which you can display all kinds of things, a compass, an accelerometer, a bluetooth antenna and the option to connect LED lights, a light sensor, buzzer or a motor, for example. By creating codes in the online editor and downloading them to your bit, you can let the bit do the work. The micro: bit works on batteries that you attach to it.

The microcomputer micro: bit is used by the FutureNL foundation to teach digital skills (programming). Expedition micro: bit is an adventure for both students and teachers in primary education.

You can sign up for a newsletter and find a lot of teaching material on the site to learn how to program the microbit.
