ВШО: Ukrainian school online

Ukrainian online school is a distance and blended learning platform for Ukrainian students of grades 5-11 and methodological support for teachers.

The goal of Ukrainian School Online is to provide free access to quality educational content for every Ukrainian student and teacher.

The platform contains video tutorials, tests and materials for independent work in 18 major subjects: Ukrainian literature, Ukrainian language, biology, biology and ecology, geography, world history, history of Ukraine, mathematics, algebra, geometry, art, fundamentals of law, natural sciences, physics, chemistry, English language and foreign literature.

Children can use the platform both to learn during quarantine and to learn about a subject that was missed at school due to illness or other reasons. For teachers, recommendations have been developed for blended and distance learning using the platform's teaching materials.

All educational content corresponds to the current educational programs of the state and its quality has been tested by the Ukrainian Institute of Educational Development. The list and topics of courses are proposed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The platform was created by the organization "Osvitoria" on behalf of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the "Ukrainian Institute of Educational Development" supported by Switzerland within the Swiss-Ukrainian project DECIDE, carried out by the Consortium DOCCU and PH Zurich.
