Care and Welfare: Infection Prevention e-learning Platform
Care and Welfare: Infection Prevention E-learning Platform, also known as ZWIeP, is an e-tool for infection policy in Flemish residential care centres. Your students can learn more about the transmission routes of infection, general precautions, personal protective equipment, additional precautions and environmental hygiene in five modules.
With this e-learning we focus on the care and welfare sector. The impact and spread of COVID-19 have once again emphasized the importance of infection prevention.
It's important to know that COVID-19 is not the only infectious disease we need to protect each other from. Other examples include flu (influenza), norovirus... It is therefore still important to follow the guidelines on infection prevention even when the threat of COVID-19 is reduced.
By working together on this, we are one step ahead of infectious diseases!
