LetterKast City is not a substitute for regular reading methods, but focuses on reinforcing good (continued) reading:

• phonological skills;
• didactic distinction between letters and sounds;
• automate all letters and sounds.

Reading well is the key to successful learning. Those who do not master the reading optimally, do not understand the course material properly, can not distinguish between main and secondary issues in texts and ultimately end up with a lasting (learning) disadvantage.

Didactic distinction
More and more students are struggling with weak automation (decoding) and have trouble analyzing (spelling) words. This, in addition to a weak study skill, also leads to problems in learning foreign languages. The cause of this lies in the basis of the reading process. There the step to scan reading was made too fast, without decoding / automation being anchored.
