Op school aandacht voor Allerheiligen en Allerzielen
Op 1 en 2 november viert de katholieke Kerk Allerheiligen en Allerzielen. Allerheiligen is het hoogfeest van alle heiligen, terwijl Allerzielen in het teken staat van al wie overleden is. Al zou het best kunnen dat je leerlingen veel meer weten over Halloween, dat de avond vóór Allerheiligen doorgaat.
Is Allerzielen een officiële feestdag?
Allerheiligen is ook in België een officiële feestdag, terwijl niet iedereen verlof heeft op Allerzielen. Ze zijn niet de meest vrolijke om te vieren, maar overledenen herdenken moet ook een plaats kunnen krijgen in de klas. Je kinderen of jongeren hebben misschien al een dierbare verloren. Dan is de periode voorafgaand op deze twee dagen een mooie gelegenheid om dat een plaats te geven in de les.
